Dreams

everyone has dreams. Dreams to do certain things, dreams to be something, or go somewhere. But let me share with you some thing the Lord has been trying to teach me. Just like everyone else, I have dreams. We have heard the worlds philosophy, “Live the Dream” or “Follow your Dreams” but what does God say? What does God want? ... God wants our dreams, sometimes he asks us to give up our dreams so that we can be used to HIS glory. John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. (KJB) is that not powerful or what? This verse has been on my mind all day. And I struggle with giving my dreams to the Lord. Half of me wants to give my dreams to the Lord and follow his will, and yet theres that part of me that says, what if??? ....... what if God asks me to give up THIS dream? What if the Lord asks us to give up a certain dream?? are we willing to lay them down and let them die? To let them die so that we can bring forth MUCH fruit? Its a struggle because of our flesh, but its definitely a part of giving our lives to our savior and following his will. So that is what the Lord has laid on my heart. Maybe the Lord will use these thought for his glory also. Who knows :)
