yeiks!! i just realized its been like a full month since i last posted on here!!!! sorry to neglect yall!!! i'll give ya a quick "Lakota's life update" lol!! :)
Farming Schedule = well on the farm things are spinning like crazy! if you read on my horsey talk blog, last week we hearded our cattle back to the property, also for a week now iv been feeding kittens with an eye dropper. my momma kitty disapeared and left 5 kittens. they started out pretty good. I had to feed them about every few hours. but slowely the weakest smallest kittens started to go down hill. and it was just one kitten after another. my last kitten died tonight. (he was so cute! i called him tubby because he was chubby, and fluffy and so cute!!!) but it is just so hard to keep kittens alive without a mom. they need the lovin :( weve also been preparing the farm yard for winter. puttin in a few new fences/gates. getting heated watering set up. cleaning up. so thats really busy also.
School = school has been in full swing. i really enjoy it!! (yeah for like the first year that i actually enjoy school!!) (is anyone proud of me???) lol my mom got me a new algebra curriculum and im actully getting along with it quite well!!!!!! (but i still hate it!!! lol) now to the fun stuff!! DEBATE AND SPEECH!!!!!!!!! iv been debating people from all over the country every week, online!! it is soo cool! and tons of fun!!! last week i debated like a top national debater dude that actually wrote some of the 2009 debate curriculum it was pretty intimidating (of course i lost lol) but it still totally rocks!! :) im still working on writting some speeches, and gonna start practicing a dueo with my friend (Melanie Martin) on Corry Tenboom book "the hiding place" im excited about that! well yall are probably bored about hearing about my school. (as am i) so i'll move on!! :)
Spiritually = oy :) God is SOOOOO good!!!!! im continually reminded of Gods presence, and his promises!!! God is SOO faithful and true!!! he Loves us! im just soo thankful to our dear wonderful savior!!! Gods really impacted me on Pure thoughts!, delighting my self in his Holy Word, being a faithful prayer warrior, and a Bright Light to this present world of darkenss.
some of you may have heard of Sarah Malley. (maybe so maybe not) but i am going to be starting a Bright Lights group here in my community! im very excited about it!! i talked to sarah on the phone the other day and it was real nice! im so excited to see how God is going to use this group for His eternal Glory!! i covet yalls prayers as i start this group!!
well theres some highlights of everything that has been going on!!! but i hate to tell you i havent even scratched the surface!! :) happy trails!!!!!
